April Cornell's
licensed designs reflect her passion for making an occasion of everyday,
by creating surroundings rich with color, luxurious texture and personal
expression.
Cornell grew up in Montreal, Canada,
influenced by a creative family and the tradition of French Provincial
design. While studying Fine Arts at Dawson College, she met her husband
and business partner, Chris Cornell. The Cornells travel the world for
design inspiration, drawing from locations like Paris, India, Portugal,
Hong Kong and British Columbia. The result is a unique design style
crafted with a combination of influences, including international style,
inspiration from nature and a talent for establishing an emotional bond
with women. Cornell's designs are often described as creating an oasis,
especially appealing to women -- a place of beauty and calm, peace and
tranquility that enriches lives and makes a woman feel great about
herself and her environment.
Cornell is currently focused on managing her
ever-expanding presence as a licensed artist. Her designs can be seen on
quilts, linens and textiles, area rugs, greeting cards, tapestries,
quilting fabrics, calendars and books, kitchen accessories and gifts and
glassware.
Cornell and her husband also share a passion
for philanthropy, actively supporting the Concern India Foundation and
serving as trustees of the Giving World Foundation. They reside in
Burlington, Vermont, with their three sons. |
Moda Fabrics sells to the independent shop
owners. They do not sell to discount stores.
They have been in the quilting and fabric industry since 1975 and are constantly
striving
to bring the quilter the latest and greatest in quilting fabrics. Moda
currently has independent
designers as well as an in-house staff to bring you the hottest new lines of
fabrics.
Moda Fabrics is located in Dallas,
Texas and prides themselves in being innovative and creative
market leaders. High quality products remain the cornerstone on which they
