Parents Weeks and Bill opened FunQuilts, a contemporary quilt design studio in Oak Park, Illinois in 1999 to design and make quilts for collectors, art galleries and interior designers. With their graduate design degrees and combined 30 years of quiltmaking experience Weeks and Bill’s quilts bring a modern twist to the great American quilting tradition. Their work has been featured in The New York Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, Country Living, TIME, Quilts Japan, and American Quilting & Patchwork. Their top-selling book, The Modern Quilt Workshop, introduced quilters around the world to a contemporary approach to quilt design. Color Harmony for Quilts, their first book, was translated into French and German as well. Designs articles by them have also appeared in American Patchwork & Quilting.
