The Mexican or Patio Dress
A very loose fitting Mexican or Patio dress, 2 patch pockets, above the bust bodice is lined.  Each are made from 100% cotton quilting top quality fabric. Please see the size guide at the bottom of this page. Shown dresses are available only in the sizes indicated.  If you wish another fabric you may choose from the fabric stock in my eBay store that have 4 yards or more on the bolt.  
All cottons are pre-shrunk before cutting.

Karen's Mexican Dress Pattern includes sizes S through 2X $9.50.

My first Oaxacan dress purchased in 1980 was falling apart from constant wearing.
 It was my most comfortable Mexican dress.  I rescued the pattern and made
design changes. There's more room under the arms, added pockets, lined the bodice for  stability and used quality quilting fabric.  
The pattern is on 8 x 11.5" paper you connect for cutting
using the marks I've indicated on the paper.  Basically the pieces are the sleeve, bodice (one
piece) front and back. I give measurements for cutting pockets, bias strip and the dress from the gathers down to the length you desire.  
The Pattern contains written and graphic step by step
sewing instructions and a fabric layout guide.
Believe it or not that Oaxacan dress in 1980  price was $69.  It was top of the line.
The Three Quarter sleeve is new and not included as part of this pattern.

   The pattern and instructions are for your personal use
or may given as a gift.  Dresses made from this pattern
 may not be used without written consent from Karen
for manufacturing or made to sell for profit.
