Karen's Dresses and Fabric
Irresistible cotton dresses for the discriminating lady.
Custom dresses for you....

The dresses are sewn from a pattern I designed, the pattern is not for sale.
You may choose the classic neck or V-neck, all have generous in-seam pockets.
Matching dress clip or attached ties are included. All cottons have been pre-shrunk before cutting.
Only quilting quality cottons are used. Karen Martin personally makes each dress.
Choose your fabric from any of the fabric pages. Always 100% cotton of the finest quality.

Use this guide to determine your size.
S (6-8) bust 32-34"	L (14-16) bust 40-42"	2X (22-24) bust 48-50"
M (10-12) bust 36-38"	XL (18-20) bust 44-46"	3X (26-28) bust 52-54"

You may mix fabrics or choose one fabric for your dress.

The contrast look can be made with any combination of two fabrics. This also shows the 3/4 sleeve..

The constrast vertical inserts in the front are used for the full back bodice and ties.

# 6 To show you contrast effect. A mixture of Calico Craze and Poetry in this
sample 3/4 length sleeve, ties and a raised waist line. S-XL $79. 2 and 3X $84.
This specific fabric is sold out. Others will be equally effective.

The inserts are fully surged together as well as the entire dress is surged finished inside.

Made with Hoffman Batik fabric. 100% cotton. The back panel was added for interest.

# 5 Hoffman Batik fabric. Shown in 2X. MaryBeth supplied Fat Quarters to be used
as insets. Other fabric is in stock. Above elbow length sleeve. S-XL $89. 2 and 3X $99.

Dress #4 is finished the same as dress #5. Black and white was chosen for the theme colors. Insert fabric was supplied by the dress owner.

# 4 The customer supplied fabric scraps for the diagonal insets. The 3rd inset
is on the back of the dress. S-XL $89. 2 and 3X $99.
Moda basic black is in stock and was used in this dress.

For a tailored look narrow trim is added between front sections and on the 3/4 length sleeve.
