About Us

Karen is from Kirkland, Washington and is an Art graduate of Washington State University, Pullman, WA.  She and her husband Larry have lived in San Antonio, TX for 28 years.  Sewing began with doll clothes learning from Elsie Widemann, her German grandmother.  Then it was on to sewing her own clothing because of long arms and long everything. Sketches and designs were on the walls as a pre teenager.  Combined are sewing skills,

 

a color/design/art education and a love for working with fabrics. 

Larry, husband of 42 years, is  retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers. They have two sons.  Gerald serves with the US Coast Guard and Terry is a Crime Scene Investigator CSI,  Las Vegas, NV.

The business was established in 1990.  That's 18 years ago!
